Wešre Pleased to Announce a Consolidation...

Fontarome Chemical, Inc., located in St. Francis, Wis., will now manage the operations of FCI S.A., to create a unified global entity.

FCI S.A., situated near Paris at Saint-Ouen-LšAumone, France, and formerly known as Fontarome S.A., the company had produced fragrance compounds as well as a full line of flavors for the food and beverage industry. It is now in the process of selling its flavor and fragrance compounding operations to a French firm.

As part of corporate unification, FCI S.A. will retain its aroma chemical component under the management of Fontarome Chemical, USA, and continue serving its customers in over 50 countries throughout the world.

As before, Fontarome Chemical, USA, will provide fine chemicals to customers in North America. In addition to flavor and fragrance chemicals, Fontarome specializes in an extensive line of pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs. Within the past year, the growing Milwaukee-area company completed construction of a 13,000-square-foot research and development facility, its fifth expansion in the past ten years.

According to Carl Sheeley, president of Fontarome Chemical, Inc., the consolidation of FCI S.A. with Fontarome Chemical in the States will give customers a broader product portfolio, enhanced customer service, and highly competitive product pricing. The consolidation will also open doors in the European market for Fontaromešs line of pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs. There will be no interruption of service for clients of either company.

Fontarome Chemical produces fine chemicals for an international roster of manufacturers. Founded in 1978, Fontarome is located at 4170 S. Nevada St., St. Francis; phone is 414-744-3993.
